FUSE GREEN x 101 APPAREL
Fuse Green is an award winning Designer and Creative Director whose bold and often humorous style has became ubiquitous with street culture. He was influenced and inspired at an early age by Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop music and culture. This inspiration developed into a deep love and passion for album art and would later become a major influence in his designs along with graffiti and comics. While still in high school he created his first design business customizing apparel and creating political cartoons for local newspapers.
He moved to Atlanta to attend the Art Institute and worked in print and sign shops which sharpened his production knowledge and intensified his thirst for excellence. He's known for contributing heavily to Atlanta's subculture renaissance as a designer who helped launch Frank Magazine and served as the magazine's Art Director for several issues. Fuse would later work as an Art Director on campaigns for Coca-Cola, Sprite, Minute Maid, and Lugz at the boutique agency Nomenudum.
In 1999 Fuse moved to New York City to become Art Director/Designer at Ecko Unlimited. He went on to design for PNB Nation, Akademiks, Scion and JBL. In 2003, he founded the brand Wheat Bread Life, which served as a home base for his print works and design projects. As of late he's worked as a senior designer for Jay Z's Rocawear and served as art director for Smirnoff's Master Of The Mix reality show. While recognized for creating iconic imagery for the likes of Spike Lee, Nike, and Wu Tang Brand, He's designed over 3000 plus t-shirt designs and continues to break creative barriers. Some of his studio's current projects include Maroon 5's 2015 World Tour merchandise, graphics for Undefeated, new prints, animated shorts, and a coffee table book outlining his design career.
