“East of the River Nile” is a legendary dub album from the master of melodica himself, Augustus Pablo. This new design by 101 Apparel makes the rhythms of Kingston its focus in its design and execution by placing a melodica front and center with the text “East of the River Nile” encircling the instrument. The font is inspired by old dusty Jamaican 45’s and the kinds of shapes you would see shuttling through a Kingston village in search of a dubplate. Dub heads, rock steady lovers, skankin mods, and sound system junkies take note.
