For all those who know that disco isn’t just gay vocals, bad production and inane themes there was something definitely something else brewing in the underground called “cosmic” or “space disco”. Stripping away all the nonsense and cheesiness inherent to disco and adding more layers, textural depth and polyrhythmic percussion this has given “cosmic” a major comeback via Berlin, London, New York and Tokyo.
